FAMILY PHYSICIANS WANTED | DURHAM REGION, ONTARIO
Help shape a new community-focused family medicine clinic.
Durham Medical Group is in the planning and physician recruitment stage. We are seeking family physicians interested in establishing, relocating, or expanding their practice in Durham Region. Our preferred search area is Oshawa, including North Oshawa and the Ritson Road area, with flexibility to consider other Durham communities based on physician interest.
PROPOSED PRACTICE ARRANGEMENTS
• Full-time and part-time opportunities; schedules and start dates to be discussed with interested physicians.
• Independent physician practice arrangements supported by a non-clinical clinic management team, subject to appropriate legal and professional agreements.
• Overhead and administrative service arrangements to be negotiated transparently based on the services provided and practice needs.
• Open to discussing FHO, FHG, and fee-for-service practice models where eligibility and applicable program requirements permit.
• Proposed shared clinic infrastructure and administrative support, with final services and facilities determined during planning.

• Collaborative physicians who value accessible, patient-centred primary care and want input into a developing clinic.
CURRENT STATUS
Recruitment is underway. No clinic lease or opening date has been finalized. The final site and proposed arrangements will be developed in consultation with interested physicians.
