GENERAL INTERNAL MEDICINE OPPORTUNITIES IN MUSKOKA We are seeking General Internist Medicine locum and full-time coverage to provide care and support to our ICU patients and provide consultations in our Emergency Department and inpatient units at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, Ontario. ABOUT MAHC Working together to provide outstanding integrated health care to our communities, delivering the best patient outcomes with exemplary standards and compassion, the Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is a multi-site organization that includes the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Site in Huntsville and the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Site in Bracebridge. Both hospital locations are slated for new builds in the coming years. It's an exciting time for health care in Muskoka. Cardiology or Respirology is considered an asset. Our General Internists provide care and support to our 5-bed ICU and provide consultations in our Emergency Department and Inpatient Units. In addition to providing care to inpatients, other clinical work could include: • ECG Reading • Holter Monitoring • Stress Testing • Pulmonary Function Testing Lifestyle South Muskoka Memorial Hospital medical staff includes family medicine Hospitalists, and specialists in General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Radiology and Urology. COMPENSATION Compensation is under the Ministry of Health HOCC Program and Fee for Service.
