Family Medicine Observership/Elective

Many of our physicians have an interest in teaching and are open to exploring observership/elective opportunities for those who may want to live and practice family medicine in Orillia & Lake Country upon completion of residency and are currently studying medicine abroad. Please note priority will be given to students who reside nearby to our community and have an interest in comprehensive family medicine. The Orillia and Midland sites provide the opportunity to train at one of two prominent community hospitals. These regional hubs offer diverse services, creating a rich family medicine learning environment. Residents will experience comprehensive rotations with excellent hands-on learning and independence. Our energetic faculty ensure a top-notch experience at community sites.
