DocsForDurham is supporting the search for a one year Family Practice locum for FHO practice with an option to take over practice and FHO billing number. Practice has a comprehensive care family practice with about 1000 rostered patients and about an additional 300 non-rostered patients. Ajax is a diverse community and my practice reflects this. Practice is a clinic based FHO with after hours shared among 9 physicians. Practice includes prenatal care and ranges from babies, pediatric, to the elderly. The majority of patients are between young adults to young seniors and all are truly lovely. Compensation can be discussed further. The locum will get full payment for FFS patients and all fees for forms, details to be discuss. The locum will provide total care including follow ups, addressing and actioning in box, referrals and related administrative duties that are part of comprehensive care. Clinic is a shared practice with 3 other independently practicing FHO Physicians. Sharing office space and practice overhead. Some colleagues also have a teaching practice and there will be Family Practice residents and other learners at the clinic working with colleagues. Practice environment is collegial and collaborative , supporting each other on clinical and office business matters. Staff includes an office manager and 2 administrative staff with an evening administrative staff member for After Hours. All are supportive and approachable. Our EMR is OSCAR Pro.
