At WHGH, people come first—and that’s what makes us proud to work here. About the Opportunity Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a rural hospital, working alongside dedicated colleagues? WHGH is currently looking for 2-3 Family Medicine Hospitalists to support the 23-bed Inpatient Unit. The successful candidate will be working within a 1-in-5 or 1-in-6 rotation and will ideally provide backup coverage in the Emergency Department during their rotation. Additional ED shifts are available, should the successful candidate be interested. Coverage is based on 24-hour shifts, and the position offers an on-call stipend with partial payment coming from in-patient work and partial from ED, with additional remuneration coming from FFS billing. This is competitive and lucrative opportunity located in a rural setting, but only a short drive from the city. Candidates are required to have their ACLS, and if doing ED as well, must also have ATLS and PALS.
