Consulting Outpatient Paediatrician - Renfrew Victoria Hospital

The Renfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) is a 55-bed, fully accredited facility located just 45 minutes west of Ottawa, serving a catchment area of over 60,000. Part of the Renfrew and Area Health Village, RVH provides medical, surgical and complex continuing care, as well as extensive ambulatory care with over 30,000 emergency and clinic visits per year. To support our community, physicians and families, the Renfrew Victoria Hospital is inviting applications from qualified Paediatricians to provide outpatient consulting clinic services to our group of family physicians. We offer with no overhead: 1. Clinic space (including use of Epic EMR & fully equipped exam room) 2. Medical secretary for booking support 3. Telemedicine options available (virtual care) as well as remote EMR access 4. No on-call or mandatory requirement. 5. Day/Evening/Weekend shifts available 6. Strong referral base from local FHO/FHT Position Qualifications: • Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). A clear and viable pathway to licensure must be established at the time of application • Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or equivalent training (e.g., American Board Certification) and eligible for RCPSC assessment with specialty certification in pediatrics.
