The Department of Internal Medicine is comprised of a number of divisions including Hospital Based Internist (HBI), Critical Care, Oncology, GI and Subspecialty Medicine. The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Subspecialty Medicine at the Brant Community Healthcare System is currently recruiting a full time Associate neurology to join the growing service. This opportunity includes inpatient work providing consults to inpatients as well as the emergency department, EMG resources along with work in our General Neurology Rapid Access Clinic. The ideal candidate will have an independent practice license from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and Neurology certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. We are looking for individuals with exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills, and a dedication to service excellence. They should also be a strong team player to work effectively with physicians, nursing, staff, patients, managers and the community with a commitment to medical education. BCHS serves a high population of indigenous persons in the region therefore culturally appropriate care for indigenous patients is a priority to the organization.
