JOB / ORGANIZATION INFORMATION The Thamesview Family Health Team (TFHT) currently has 4 positions available with an immediate start date and no end date in Chatham. Physicians would build a roster and absorb unattached patients. Chatham-Kent has approximately 60 family physicians working in Chatham-Kent with 18 working at TFHT. The Interdisciplinary team at TFHT consists of the following: NPs, RNs, RPNs, Social Workers, Pharmacist, Dietitian, Respiratory Therapist, and Occupational Therapist, as well as administrative staff. The EMR is Telus PS. Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) is a 200 bed community hospital serving the residents of Chatham and rural Kent including Walpole Island and Delaware First Nations. Referral Centres are in Windsor and London. Chatham-Kent is a distributed teaching site for Schulich, and is a Family Medicine Resident Teaching Site. Many education opportunities for physicians are available at the health teams, CKHA, through the CK Task Force and the Chatham-Kent Ontario Health Team (CKOHT). FINANCIAL INFORMATION Compensation would be blended capitation. The TFHT will support physicians in finding nursing and administrative staff. The TFHT provides HR and administrative support to the doctors. Possibly eligible for income stabilization and newcomer stipend of $25,000 for a full-time practice.
