Opportunity to Take Over an Established FHO/FHT Group Practice in 2027 Posting #03-006-24 A family physician that is a member of a 2-member group practice within a 26-member FHO on the Southwest Hamilton Mountain is looking for a candidate to take over her practice in early 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to locum long-term with the intention to take over the practice. The practice has a diverse roster with patients of all ages and backgrounds and receives administrative support from 5 clerical staff including 2 receptionists (shared between the group), book-keeping/billing staff, and support staff for booking appointments/tests. As part of the Hamilton Family Health Team, the practice also receives extensive support from allied health professionals, including significant nursing support provided by 3 Registered Nurses (1 full-time and 2 part-time) and 1 full-time Nurse Practitioner. Additional allied health support from a clinical pharmacist, dietitian, psychiatrist, and a mental health counsellor is also provided. The practice is currently uses P&P EMR and on-site facilities include 4 exam rooms (3 for the practicing physicians and 1 shared with the NP), a private office/charting area, and a reception area/waiting room. The location also hosts a pharmacy, x-ray/ultrasound clinic, physiotherapy clinic, and dental office, and parking is free for both staff and patients.
