Clinton Public Hospital is recruiting physicians interested in providing Full, Part Time or Locum ED coverage. Position Details: Shifts are scheduled for a 24 hour period. 0800-2200 is paid at the AFA rate of $180-$190/hour, depending on weekday/weekend. The Emergency Department is closed at 2000 with last registration at 1800. Physicians are compensated for their work overnight covering the inpatient unit at a rate of $500-$550 (weekday/weekend) Local daily ED back up is available/scheduled. Physicians travelling from out of town may wish to cover consecutive shifts, which is very manageable. A comfortable, fully furnished one bedroom suite is available. Clinton Public Hospital is part of the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance, which also includes; Seaforth Community, St Marys Memorial and Stratford General Hospitals. The four-hospital Alliance is located in beautiful Southwestern Ontario. Clinton Public Hospital is a 20 bed well equipped hospital with a bed mix of Medicine and CCC. There is strong specialty support available through colleagues at Stratford General Hospital, approximately 45 minutes away.
