The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is recruiting two Anesthesiologists to join the department of 7. Primary work would be at Stratford General Hospital with additional days at Clinton Public Hospital. Consultant back up and ancillary staff support is excellent. Non-urgent cases are not completed after 11pm on weekdays or 4pm on weekends. Fee for service plus HOCC remuneration. The HPHA is an Alliance of four hospitals located in Southwestern Ontario, including Clinton Public, Seaforth Community, St Marys Memorial, and Stratford General. Stratford General Hospital is a 120 bed hospital and the largest hospital in the HPHA. It is the regional referral centre for Huron and Perth County residents, offering a broad range of medical and surgical inpatient services. Surgical specialties in the HPHA include; general, orthopedics, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, ENT, plastics, dentistry and ophthalmology. The Stratford site provides critical and neonatal intensive care units, maternal child, complex continuing care and rehabilitation inpatient services. The Stratford site offers: -Newly developed OR, ICU, ER and Medical Imaging -New state of the art Drager Zeus gas machines -Onsite MRI, CT, US, Nuclear Medicine, Bloodbank. Glidescopes and fibre optic bronchoscopes in both main OR and OB units -Dedicated US for OR use -PatientKeeper technology to access patient records anywhere from personal computing devices -Excellent working environment with a supportive group, in addition to strong relationships with surgical and internal medicine colleagues Community Stratford is a city of 35,000 residents, located on the Avon River. Requirements FRCPC qualification or FM/A, in addition to comfort with paediatrics and regional techniques is required.
