The Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital (PSFDH) is an 85 bed acute care community hospital operating on two sites serving a regional population of 66,000. Speciality catchment area of over 80,000. The hospital is a fully accredited hospital with exemplary status. The communities of Perth and Smiths Falls are located approximately one hour from Ottawa and Kingston, along the Rideau Canal and the Rideau Lakes System. The perfect place to practise and play! PSFDH is currently seeking an exceptional candidate to join our group as an on site General Radiologist. We are currently a group of 3 Radiologists who value patient-centered care, learning opportunities, as well as a culture that synergizes teamwork with a commitment to excellence. Practice Profile The successful candidate will have training in and be expected to report all modalities of Diagnostic Radiology including x-ray, fluoroscopy, US, CT and MRI. (Candidates with training/ experience in reporting Neuroradiology will be preferred). Onsite radiologists work 5 days/week. Part-time work of 2-3 days/week is possible for those experienced in Neuroimaging. Requirements Requirements Ø Have or be eligible for independent registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario ( CPSO). Ø Certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) Ø Fellowship training in Neuroradiology is preferred, but not mandatory
