The Ross Memorial Hospital (https://rmh.org/), located in Lindsay, is an accredited 170 bed community hospital that meets the needs of over 100,000 people. A blend of primary and secondary services are provided by a group of family physicians and specialists to address the complex needs of our community. A core of general surgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, opthalmologists, and obstetricians support a broad range of surgical services. These surgical services are supported by a blend of FRCP and GP Anesthetists. A team of internists support a 24/7 ICU and consultation services including a full range of cardiology, GI diagnostic testing, respirology, and endocrinology. Emergency medicine is provided for over 45,000 visits per year on a 24/7 basis. A state-of-the-art Diagnostic Imaging service is supported by on-site and off-site radiologists, allowing the maintenance of 24/7 CT and MRI services. Specific patient needs are supported by an inpatient rehabilitation service, a palliative care unit, an outpatient dialysis unit, and chronic complex care capability. Requirements Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized medical school. Completion of residency in Family Medicine. Licensure: Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ontario (registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario). Certification: Certification in Family Medicine by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) is preferred. Experience: Relevant clinical experience in primary care settings. Experience working with diverse populations and communities is an asset. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
