Seeking dedicated Family Physicians to join our Chatham-Kent Family Health Team with locations in Chatham, Blenheim, Ridgetown, Dresden, and Wallaceburg, Ontario. Join an Interdisciplinary team that consists of the following: NPs, RNs, RPNs, Social Workers, Pharmacist, Chiropodist, Dietitian, Respiratory Therapists, Diabetes Dietitians & Educator, Occupational Therapist, Health Promoter, and Psychotherapists, as well as administrative staff. Physicians would build a roster and absorb unattached patients, or take over a practice if available. The EMR is Accuro. Job Duties: • Provide continuous and comprehensive healthcare for individuals and families across all ages, genders, and medical conditions. • Develop and manage treatment plans for both acute and chronic diseases. • Educate patients on disease prevention and health maintenance. • Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues. • Conduct routine check-ups, assessments, and vaccinations. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff to ensure coordinated care. • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients. Requirements • Certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) • Registration / Licensures from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Commitment to ongoing medical education • Ability to manage a diverse range of health issues in patients of all age groups • High standards of discipline, punctuality, courtesy, ethics, and compassion Language of work is English. Benefits Compensation would be blended capitation and payment is through the FHO model. In an FHO model, physicians are paid a flat rate amount for providing medical care for their patients as determined by their age and sex. The amount a family physician can earn is also determined by their roster size and expenses, the earning range could be $250,000-$430,000. Possibly eligible for income stabilization and newcomer stipend as well as substantial private incentives at some locations. Physician will apply for their own personal and professional benefits through the Ontario Medical Association or insurance provider of choice.
