Family Physician Locum

Family Practice clinic in Ajax, minutes from Ajax Hospital and Ajax waterfront with easy access to beautiful trails. I am looking for a one year Family Practice locum for my FHO practice with an option to take over my practice and FHO billing number. I have a comprehensive care family practice with about 1000 rostered patients and about an additional 300 non-rostered patients. Ajax is a diverse community and my practice reflects this. My practice is a clinic based FHO with after hours shared among 9 physicians. My practice includes prenatal care and ranges from babies, pediatric, to the elderly. The majority of patients are between young adults to young seniors and all are truly lovely. Compensation can be discussed further. Shifts typically being 3 hours. The locum will get full payment for FFS patients and all fees for forms. The locum will provide total care including follow ups, addressing and actioning in box, referrals and related administrative duties that are part of comprehensive care. 4. My clinic is shared practice with 3 other independently practicing FHO Physicians. sharing office space and practice overhead. Some of my colleagues also have a teaching practice and there will be Family Practice residents and other learners at the clinic working with my colleagues. My colleagues and I practice in a collegial and collaborative manner and support each other on clinical and office business matters. I expect that the locum can have the same experience. Our staff includes an office manager and 2 administrative staff with an evening administrative staff member for After Hours. All are supportive and approachable. Our EMR is OSCAR Pro.
