Family Physician Locum

Long and short term Locum opportunities – July 1st with end date flexible between September and November. Practice details include: size is approximately 1850 patients; demographics vary to new born to seniors. expect about 25-30 patients per day depending on comfort and experience of physician. inbox management is a requirement. currently utilizing Prescribe-IT Supports Available: nursing is only available in urgent care, not for office use unless requested and arranged by locum - The medical office assistant will do general weights for physicals (NOT offered regularly) and for all infant visits. Immunizations are done by the physician. Requirements Practice expectations: 40hr pt time to ensure adequate availability to patients, (8 hr/d x4-5pt/hr; 1hr for lunch hence, @30pt/day + mailbox management @ 1.5hr per day or less = total hours 46) compensation to be discussed Practice type: independent solo practice. Urgent care is optional no “on call “ required; urgent care is currently NOT obligation EMR? currently using “PS solutions” in 2 exam rooms single personal use computer in large personal (but crowded) office.
