We are a 42-bed hospital, including a 3-bed CCU, 24/7 Emergency Department, and 2 modern OR theatres with 1 fully integrated MIS suite. We have a regionally-integrated EMR (Meditech, current development towards adopting Meditech Expanse), on-site diagnostic imaging (CT, ultrasound, x-ray), laboratory services, and nearby pathology (Kenora). DRHC is conveniently located on the same grounds as the Dingwall Medical Clinic and Dryden Area Family Health Team, making collaborative care a breeze. DRHC also hosts a Specialty Clinic that brings in visiting specialists year-round, supporting quality healthcare closer to home. This includes Orthopedic Surgery (knee, hip, spine), ENT, Plastics, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Rheumatology, Urology, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry. We have an active team of 13 rural family physicians, 2 GP/As, and a General Surgeon providing comprehensive patient care for the community. Requirements Family Medicine + Anesthesia or 5yr RCPSC Anesthesia training are both welcome. Valid CPSO license (or ability to obtain). Benefits Compensation: Dryden is an eligible community under the Northern Rural Recruitment and Retention Initiative - physicians that establish a full-time practice in Dryden are eligible for $136,308 over four years! DRHC offers an additional return-of-service signing bonus and up to $15,000 in reimbursement for moving expenses. Practicing in Dryden also makes you eligible for Canada Student Loan forgiveness - up to $60,000 over 5 years. Local Anesthetists are part of a competitive regional Alternate Payment Plan (APP).
