Actively seeking a family physician interested in joining a community family medicine practice. The Kawartha Lakes Community Health Centre consists of 3 physicians located in Lindsay, Ontario. This is a salaried position. The Community Health Centre is a holistic model, seeing socially and medically complex patients. The Ross Memorial Hospital (https://rmh.org/), located in Lindsay, is an accredited 170 bed community hospital that meets the needs of over 100,000 people. A blend of primary and secondary services are provided by a group of family physicians and specialists to address the complex needs of our community. A core of general surgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, opthalmologists, and obstetricians support a broad range of surgical services. These surgical services are supported by a blend of FRCP and GP Anesthetists. A team of internists support a 24/7 ICU and consultation services including a full range of cardiology, GI diagnostic testing, respirology, and endocrinology. Emergency medicine is provided for over 45,000 visits per year on a 24/7 basis. A state-of-the-art Diagnostic Imaging service is supported by on-site and off-site radiologists, allowing the maintenance of 24/7 CT and MRI services.
