About the Opportunity

The David Braley Sport Medicine & Rehabilitation Centre is currently seeking a skilled and energetic Sport Medicine Physician Lead to join the dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary environment alongside experienced clinicians, including world-renowned sports medicine physician Dr. David Levy.

The ideal candidate will be available for 3 days/week, seeing approximately 15 patients per day, with Lead Physician duties taking an additional 5-10 hours per month.

The successful candidate will be working in a collaborative, forward thinking clinical environment with additional services such as Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Chiropractic Care, Registered Dietitian, Pedorthist, Custom Bracing and Hydrotherapy. The team is supported by experienced administrative and support staff, uses state of the art integrated EMR (TELUS CHR with MD Billing and Clinical Connect), and has a large referral base from Orthopaedic surgeons, local primary care physicians and allied health professionals.

Clinical practice is a fee-for-service structure with very low overhead, with an additional stipend provided for the Lead duties.

Required Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD).
• SEM fellowship trained and Diploma preferred.
• GP focused practice designation.
• License to practice in Ontario and full malpractice insurance.
• In good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
• Experience in interventional procedures is considered an asset.
