Family Physician, Office Only, No Overhead in Sunny Sundridge We are looking for a family doctor to join our team on April 1, 2026. The Sundridge and District Medical Centre is a friendly, well-organized clinic with three Physicians, two Nurse Practitioners, and one Nurse. The clinic supports the Village of Sundridge and the Townships of Strong and Joly. We are located 35 minutes north of Huntsville and 45 minutes south of North Bay. Highlights - Part-time or Full-time rural family practice opportunity - job sharing possible - Roster of 800 patients - typically see 14-18 patients per day - No overhead - No weekends and no on-call requirements - Average monthly payment through the Rural and Northern Physician Group Agreement is $30,000 based on five days per week, including 1 weeknight (4.5 days in clinic, 0.5 days for paperwork) Eligible for the $93,640 Northern Rural Recruitment & Retention Initiative( NRRRI). - Up to 37 paid vacation days per year, with locum coverage through HealthForceOntario, depending on full-time vs part-time - Well-trained and experienced administrative staff - Newly renovated clinic - Locums available to try out the practice Requirements The Practice The practice covers a full range of office-based family medicine from shared antenatal and newborn care to geriatric and palliative care. Our newly renovated clinic is equipped with TELUS PSS EMR. There are X-ray and lab services available 15 minutes away. In the Village of Sundridge, there are chiropractors, massage therapists, osteopaths, acupuncturists, dentists, community mental health services, and child, youth & family services. The Contract We are on a salaried contract - Rural and Northern Physician Group Agreement (RNPGA). Physicians must have a license or be eligible for a license to practice with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Certification in Family Medicine (by either the College of Family Physicians of Canada or the American Board of Family Medicine) is also a requirement. The position requires communication in English.
