Family Medicine F/T FHO

Full Time FHO position available. Various practice sizes. Multiple locations with supportive teams. One of four FHOs in the city, the GP FHO spans seven clinic sites and offers physicians the flexibility to run an independent practice with inter-professional team support. Inter-professional Healthcare Providers from the Peterborough Family HealthTeam support the GP FHO’s 26 physicians. This includes nurse practitioners,mental health clinicians, dietitians, and pharmacists. The FHO accommodates full-time, part-time, and shared practices—enabling physicians to pursue other clinical interests in the community. GreaterPeterboroughFHOPhysicians are self-employed, managing their own clinic operations and overhead. Some sites benefit from shared staffing models and partial funding for nursing support. As per the FHO agreement, physicians participate in a shared Extended Hours rotation for rostered patients.Administrative coordination and support are provided by theFHO office and Executive Committee.
